Hello Tipton, Iowa!
The residents of Tipton, Ia got a blast of public art fun on Friday morning, August 5th, when they went downtown at the Kraken of dawn for Tipton’s Ridiculous Days! (If YOU are from Tipton, welcome to my website and a warm hello from me!)
It turns out there are some good reasons why people are going downtown in Tipton today and tomorrow. Ridiculous Days (city wide sidewalk shopping sales that start EARLY), family activities and live music in the park, and of course the Hardacre Film Festival.
I hear there is an outdoor movie showing on Friday night, about 9:40…could be good! See the description and full lineup on the Hardacre Film Festival schedule.
Whether you’re from Tipton or just passing by, you can’t miss me if you drive through the heart of town – I’ll be at the corner of Cedar and 5th Streets watching over the festivities all day long.
Ps: If you do see me in Tipton, would you take a photo and post it on my Facebook page? If not, some people might never believe I was there! 🙂
Thank you to Mark Wiskus Construction for sponsoring this appearance and to Scott Sanborn of the Tipton Chamber of Commerce for arranging my visit.
